Announcement: Sipermarres Ventures
We are excited to announce that Sipermarres Ventures & Gold Ventures Investment (GVI) Austria have reached a partnership agreement where GVI will provide an access for Sipermarres Venture' Balkan based portfolio companies to apply for a public grant in Austria intended for R&D operation. Further, GVI Austria will assist the portfolio companies in search for follow-on growth investments from private investors in the EU and provide them with business development services into the European market.
In addition, Kobi (Jacob) Kalderon, Founder & CEO of GVI will be joining the Sipermarres team as Venture Partner.
We look forward to a fruitful relationship between the parties for the benefits of both parties, the Balkan startups, and the Austrian government.
A serial entrepreneur, Kobi Kalderon has vast experience in backing and mentoring early-stage startups, raising capital, enhancing partnerships, achieve global commercialization and be a gate opener for non-EU high-tech companies into the EU market and the DACH states in specific.
Sipermarres Ventures is a seed venture capital focused on the Balkan region investing in deep tech startup companies. It is an incubation fund serving startups admitted to Sipermarres Entrepreneurship Center (SEC)'s incubator. SEC's target is to enable its portfolio companies to grow their product from POC to market validation stage while establishing a foothold in the EU market.
