GVI is delighted to announce that we have signed an MOU with Pegasus Venture from the US in order to invite international startups to take part in the world's largest startup competition series powered by Pegasus Tech Ventures, spanning over 100 regional events across 60+ countries.

This event brings together top entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and industry leaders.

About Startup World Cup

The Startup World Cup is a series of global startup conferences and pitch competitions powered by Pegasus Tech Ventures, featuring 100+ regional events across 60+ countries. These events lead to our 2026 Startup World Cup Grand Finale, where winning startups from each regional event will compete for a $1M prize! The Grand Finale is being held in San Francisco (USA) on November 6th, 2026.

As part of the selection process, GVI will organize a pitch day event in Slovenia for the winning startup

Who can apply ?

Industry agnostic - pre-seed to series A - all types of startups .

The startups must have traction, paying customers or a letter of commitment from customers.
