GVI and SHP Announce Strategic Partnership to Help Startups Capture Poland & CEE Markets

Tel Aviv, Vienna and Warsaw

Gold Venture Investment (GVI) and Startup Hub Poland Foundation (SHP) announced their strategic partnership today to facilitate the expansion plans of GVI’s portfolio startups to a new and vibrant 150M market: Poland and CEE. The Scale with GVI program will be executed by SHP and promoted by GVI.

GVI, a global investment banking company based in Europe and Israel, scouts potential innovative solutions in the name of governments, municipalities, high-tech parks, global accelerators, and private investors.

Based upon over 30 years of experience in the industry, GVI significantly improves the chances of startups to achieve fundraising and expand into global commercialization. This is done mainly via an intensive incubation/acceleration program and a wide international network of key individuals.

The Startup Hub Poland Foundation has been building the startup ecosystem in Poland & CEE for 8 years now. To date, SHP has incubated, accelerated and scaled about 200 Polish and international startups. For this, the foundation relies on its extended team of 25+ mentors & consultants, strong connections with 50+ corporates and 70+ VC firms operating in the region.

In the past two years alone, SHP has helped 31 international startups successfully expand to Poland and CEE and helping several of them win fast track EU grants of EUR 2M+ each.

Both GVI and SHP share the same enthusiasm about CEE being the next growth engine in the world. Hence, by partnering with each other, the two organizations will provide startups and investors entry into a huge and vibrant new market
