GVI signed an agreement with Mr. Ioannis Mpozardenis, who will represent GVI in Greece with the aim of assisting Greek and foreign start-ups to build their operation and penetrate the Greek market, promote and connect potential investors to the GVI model in order to encourage and motivate them to invest in startups companies that shall be identified by GVI and GVI Greece and encourage the establishment of innovation centers based on the GVI model.
Ioannis Mpozardenis has worked in investment banking and is also an independent investor in Greece and abroad, while he is also familiar with Accelerators and Incubators programs. Ioannis said: “I am very happy to partner with GVI as this will assist and facilitate the connection between Greek startups and companies to international investors. Together with GVI we can encourage the innovation in Greece. Greece was strongly affected by the Debt crisis but as the financial situation of the country improves, there is a lot of potential for innovative corporations to grow and expand nationally and internationally alongside with the right partners. Moreover, I aim to encourage Greek investors to switch and invest more on technological opportunities by explaining and showing the tremendous opportunities in this space compared to other more conservative investment opportunities”
